Prof. (Dr) Amar Pal Singh
Prof. Singh is the Professor of Law at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University, Delhi. He has an extensive experience of teaching at various National Law Universities. Prior to joining back IP University, he was the Head of Deaprtment (Legal Studies) at Dr. RML National Law University, Lucknow. Prof. Singh has written and been published extensively in the field of Environment law and Climate Change. He has successfully authored more than 40 pieces in national and international journals along with presenting more than 48 papers at various conferences and seminars. Apart from Environment Law, Prof. Singh takes keen interest in International Humanitarian Law, Constitutionalism and legal governance.
Mr. Sumit Rai
Sumit Rai is 2007 batch graduate from the Government Law College, Mumbai and is currently an Associate Partner at Economic Laws Practice, Mumbai. His practice is primarily in the field of arbitration, international commercial disputes, and international investment law. He often writes on arbitration issues and has been published in various peer-reviewed journals. He is also the founding editor of Blog Arbitration – an online colloquium on law & practice globally. He has completed the Geneva Master in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS, LL.M) in 2011, where he was awarded the first rank.
Mr. Divyadeep Chaturvedi
Divyadeep practices law in the Supreme Court of India and other courts in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. . He obtained Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India and a degree of Master of Laws in Advanced Studies in Public International Law with Specialization in International Criminal Law from Leiden University, The Netherlands. He delivers visiting lectures on International Criminal Law. He has attended the Summer Program of The Hague Academy of International Law in the year 2011 and served as a Legal Intern at the Office of the Prosecutor, United Nations Special Tribunal for Lebanon, The Netherlands. He wrote his Master thesis on “Terrorism as an International Crime and Universal Jurisdiction” under the good guidance and supervision of Prof. Dr. Carsten Stahn. Divyadeep was also awarded the Spic Macay Scholarship with His Holiness The Dalai Lama wherein he volunteered for the Tibetan Government-in-Exile and Tibetan Women’s Association.
